Jessica Perez

Jessica Perez is a still photographer based in Los Angeles, originally from Sunnyvale, CA. Her love for photography began at 13 when she received a point and shoot camera for her birthday. Back then people didn’t have camera phones so she documented her friends from 7th grade all the way until high school graduation.

At 16 years old she pursued concert photography and went to countless concerts in San Francisco and San Jose. However, it wasn't until 2015, while attending San Jose State University, that she discovered what a Still Photographer was. Jessica documented the summer course that taught students how to do a production from beginning to end. That summer she decided that this was going to be her new path in photography and ran with it.

In 2017 Jessica moved to Los Angeles and in October of 2023 she joined IASTE Local 600 as a Still Photographer.

When not on set, Jessica enjoys outdoor adventures with her fiancé and friends—whether it’s camping, rock climbing, or hiking. She also photographs personal work on 35mm film during her travels, keeping her love for photography alive as a hobby. When not outdoors, you’ll find her boxing, lifting weights, or relaxing at home with her fiancé.
